NEW EPISODE……

For most of us, if you mention Turkey – we immediately think of either a holiday destination – or Christmas Dinner!

However, for Ian Burnett, it meant business opportunity, because that was his destination after he had been working in the corporate world for some time.

He ended up spending several years out there, eventually coming back to the UK, whilst retaining an online presence in Turkey, to re-enter corporate life.

As you’ll hear in Ian’s story, that didn’t quite work out – and so his involvement with it’s eeze Web Design began.

Ian’s scale up journey is a little different, though – because it’s eeze web design is part of a franchise – something that we’ve never really discussed on ScaleUp Radio before.

In this latest episode of ScaleUp Radio, Kevin Brent talks to Ian about his own scale up journey and the lessons that he has learned throughout the process.

There is a lot of ground covered over the course of the conversation, including:

  •  How to stand out in a very competitive sector
  •  What to think about if you’re considering a franchise
  •  The process for getting that all important first client
  •  Keeping on top of changes in technology, particularly in a field that’s digital or IT-related

What’s fascinating about Ian and his story, is his determination to make sure that people look past the fact that he’s part of a franchise. It’s HIS business, which just happens to be part of a franchise.
